RESIDENTS of Protea Glen over the weekend watched in amazement as the Johannesburg Roads Agency employees descended in the area for the entire two days to fix the roads. From Saturday to yesterday, the teams from Dobsonville, Nancefield, Hamberg and Traffic Marking south depots accompanied by the Roadies declared war on potholes. Hard at work in their orange overalls for two days, they filled potholes, did patching, road resurfacing, putting up road signs, skoffling, road marking and cleaning up the storm-water drainage system among other activities.
